time is the action of being nice and making others feel amazing and warm inside having the heart and knowledge to put others before yourself in situations to be kind to one another and friendship like meeting new people with the same problem as you spreading love and positivity no matter what someone is so nice to you don't talk back to you or they don't show me where do physically pulling to helping out without being asked is being nice to a person and not making them feel bad about themselves I'm friendly and nice to a person who needs it loving people and being there for them if they need help going out of your way to make someone else smile kind of is a girls only club that teaches girls of harmful effects of when we learn communication skills problem solving expressing our emotions team building and lastly spreading kindness they tell all my classes the worst thing you can do is make fun of someone bully someone unfortunately I usually will see the students after they've been involved in some type of a physical altercation with another student and I realize this year that a lot of my LD kids were being bullied I'm not only by kids on the outside of our classroom amongst their peers I have been bullied all my life and school since kinder to 7th grade I was in v say it was in fourth grade fourth grade third grade sibling would have would be about like the way my body was there my or how I look under to 7th grade they have call me fatty I'm coming ugly and yes and someone told me you should really stop eating because you're getting really fat you want to leave me alone so I went to tell the teacher But the teacher didn't do anything so I just said so Saturday pull my air and I fell to the floor going to die why do you do this why don't you come at Sioux I want you all these things and yesterday my little brother got kicked in the head on question kicked in the head and say turn off 8th Baskin and Jeffrey leave the school where I can I'm going to hurt you so a lot a lot of the times people will just pass by through the hallways and school and you'll see it anywhere practically share I felt when you were speaking to the and lady I feel so bad for her because knowing that that's what's happening in the world right now makes me feel like we can change that student-led anti-bullying programs are the most effective measure against bullying far more effective than one parents teachers or administrators get involved it's been a great impact on the school very positive it's nice to see all of the posters up and the girls wearing the kind Club t-shirts and I think that it's tough to Lisa a nice tone of reminding everybody that we're here together to work together to make our school a safe kind environment I think it's really wonderful I definitely think the club has said a positive influence on the whole school these girls are girls had a lot of these students look up to home by then showing kindness and setting a good example others follow as well we can see it we can I think we can all see it here on campus the girls have done a lot of please to talk to the entire on school about the effects of bullying spoke to students about fooling we supposed to comes up kind club we gave them some facts about bullying Sesame Arsenal vs reading 13 steps of recovery and tie Willmar Minnesota recent shows at the silhouette at Fazoli's group can reduce disciplinary Problems by 30% you could help Emily at your school we did some team-building activities which include fee who lets game around of human pretzel we wanted to share the idea we had at our school which is to start a kind calls and to promote this idea of spreading kindness at your school I do feel like it methadone because they open their eyes so like what building it is it's not just teasing and like it's actually something serious Circle in the cafeteria they were very understanding and the other siblings I'm glad that everyone had fun and that's just all I ask for tab all people have lunch we also had them fill out Thomas cards I got an architect that you promised to do on a daily basis to create change within your school I promise that if I see something that I will not be a bystander and then makeup and tell them that believe he's wrong I promise not to harm anyone Julio Texas Clyde was written to a friend or a classmate or somebody in their life that they just wanted to know give a shout out to a nice compliment think you are a very busy girl you were always very very sincerely me and my brother you are so nice to me when I was in sincerely Clayton one of the great things about the girls build La project is that I was able to get in touch with people who have the same mission that and one of those some people that we met her name is Natalie Hanson Natalie is the founder of an app called sit with us she started the app because of her humbling experience it all started in seventh grade it started with little things that could be easily explained away like people started itching me as a joke and I can never join anyone's lunch table would say mean things in the hallways I started to feel really alone because I felt like I didn't have a friend group I didn't have anyone to go to with anything spring of my 7th grade year I was physically attacked three times in two weeks the teachers weren't stepping up and doing anything the ministration wasn't doing any and so I felt really voiceless in that situation because no one was really listening and reacting to what was happening to me but then in the fall of my reindeer this girl was so angry and she was holding a pair of scissors in her hand and she spun around and pointed this is there's that my throat and said I'm resisting the urge to next road right now and so after that that's when we decided that things really weren't going to get better because this kept happening and that's when we decided to look at we wanted to make sure that did not happen at our school so we decided that we would have all of our students download the sit with us app at the sit with us assembly she told us why she started me up and about a week after she left because she really inspired us we also hosted an event called no one eats alone all the kids were you know welcome to one designated area and we all sat together we ate lunch together we have music that all kinds of activities and it was this year we have quadrupled the size of Our Kind club they're going to this big world and they know that there's going to be problems and we just want to let them know sinus is going to get them far it's going to look like it's okay try to be kind like nice and like two other people cuz if you just smile at someone that can make some I think the bullying is always going to be evident in the middle school that's just how kids are but in our school I think kind Club has definitely helped loenbro pulling into town tomorrow
