IMPACT PROGRAM

The IMPACT Program is designed to reflect the philosophy and goals of the Drug-Free Schools Program of the Los Angeles Unified School District.  It is a program, which not only promotes a drug-free environment, but also provides assistance to all students exhibiting “at risk” behaviors.

The goals of the program are to identify and refer students to appropriate agencies if indicated and to provide counseling and support groups within the school.  The IMPACT program is designed to build self-esteem and to improve communication and decision-making skills.

IMPACT group meets during school hours, and times vary every semester.  Referral forms could be picked up at the main office.
